Difference Between Carpet Beetle Bites And Bed Bugs Bites

A person cannot tell the difference between both carpet beetles and bed bugs by their looks, but you should know that these two are completely different from each other. They have different behavior because-

  • If we talk about the bed bugs, then they bite the living skin; they are found on your bed and bite you when you fall asleep and feed on your blood.
  • But on the other hand, you will think of the carpet beetles, then bite the ea animal skin such as fur, silk, wool, and other products.

This is one of the biggest differences between carpet beetle bites and bed bug bites, the bed bugs are harmful to humans, but the carpet beetles are not. When the bed bug bites you, then you will wake up with a sore spot when they have bitten you, these spots are just like the mosquito bites, and it can be itchy.

If you have bed bugs, then there are chances that you will have carpet beetles in your house too. It is because the carpet beetles feed on dead animal skin, and if there will be more dead bed bugs, there will be more carpet beetles in your house.
